Crew Match Card
Plans are well advanced for this season's Big Boat series, primarily for Farr 45s, Swan 45s and DKs. With the abandonment of IRM by RORC, the class will concentrate on level racing and we shall slightly alter the format this year without losing anything that has made this series so special. There will be a separate trophy for each of the three weekends as well as the David Diehl trophy itself for the best performance over the series. Dates for the weekends are:
May 24th - 25th (Bank Holiday weekend): 4 x windward/leeward races each day, for a Silver cup;
June 7th - 8th: two days of match racing, for the RTYC Imperial Trophy.
September 5th-7th; a three-day racing fest starting on Friday afternoon, for the Staples Trophy.
