The Trafalgar Cup

The Trafalgar Cup is the oldest yachting - and probably sporting - trophy in existence still being competed for anywhere in the world.  It was first presented, in 1802, as the Vauxhall Cup, and dedicated for Solent racing in 2005, to mark the 200th anniversary of the battle of Trafalgar.  The Cup was re-mounted on a new plinth made from oak taken from the timbers of HMS Victory during her refurbishment. A prestigious trophy that is well worth winning.
