Crew Match Card
Sky Hunter is currently in Boston and I am bringing her back to the Mediterranean after her sojourn in the Caribbean and Maine. Many of you have indicated an interest in being involved in the return trip, so here are the outline details for this year. Ideally the crew should be four nor five on board.
Boston to Azores: Leave 10 May 2008 from Boston; distance approximately 2000 miles; estimated time between 15 and 20 days.
Azores to Gibraltar: Leave 8 June from Azores; distance approximately 1000 miles; estimated time between 8 and 10 days.
Sky Hunter will then rest in Gibraltar until August.
Gibraltar to Sicily: Leave, say, 10 August from Gibraltar; distance approximately 1000 miles, estimated time 14 days to take in some stops on the way, but in time to arrive in Sicily for RTYC Rally. This can be broken down into two legs of 7 days to fit in with more convenient timings.
Each of these legs is independent, so you may mix and match. Each leg provides an ideal opportunity for those looking for sea miles, perhaps for a ticket or just for experience. If you are unable to come, please feel free to mention the opportunity to someone else.
Travel to and from the boat is the responsibility of crew members. The boat is my responsibility. Costs of the voyage are shared.
